Now that I’ve been dabbling in the modelling industry for a while, I have a few different shoots I would deem ‘favourites’, but all for different reasons. My shoot with Herman was exciting because it was edgy and I was able to showcase my body, which is something I’m really proud of. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I loved my shoot with Federica because it was elegant and whimsical.
This shoot was for YOGO, which is a brand that makes my favourite travel mats for yoga. I’ve been getting in front of my phone camera for years showing videos and pictures of my yoga practice, but this was the first time I did it professionally. It felt great to just move through my practice and share something that is such a central part of who I am.
At the beginning of the shoot we focused on branding photos, showcasing the size and logo in both outdoor and indoor settings. You can read more about YOGO here, and make sure to use the code LUNARLAURA for 15% off your purchase!
At the end of the shoot Elodie wanted to do a few black and white silhouettes, so I played around with backbends and inversions for a while. I think the contrast is really eye-catching, and I like how you can still see the strength in each posture.
