8 yummy soups

I’m pretty sure everyone likes soup, especially during autumn and winter. It’s also such a convenient meal to make ahead of time and freeze for days when you don’t have time (or energy!) to cook. Here are a few of my favourites:

Spicy Prawn Laksa by Taste.com

I fell in love with laksa while living in Asia, and this is my go-to easy recipe if I want to make it at home.

Dairy-free Potato Leek Soup by Mm Good

Potato leek soup usually has cream or milk, but this recipe is both tasty AND dairy-free!

Ginger Carrot Soup by Guy Fieri

This is probably my favourite one. If you like ginger, definitely give this recipe a try - the yogurt on top brings it all together.

Kimchi Jjigae by My Korean Kitchen

I lived in Korea for four years, so this one definitely makes my list. It’s so easy, and you can also make it vegetarian if needed.

Turmeric Broth Detox Soup by Feasting at Home

This broth is AMAZING, especially if you’re sick. Sometimes I make just the broth without adding anything extra.

Moroccan Carrot Red Lentil Soup by A Cedar Spoon

I happily stumbled upon this recipe while trying to use up a large number of carrots. I love the spices in this one.

Thai Curry Red Lentil Soup by Sweet Peas and Saffron

I make this one constantly and keep portions in the freezer. You can play around with the flavouring a bit to suit your tastes.

Paleo Chicken Pot Pie Soup by Jay’s Baking Me Crazy

Like the potato leek soup, these recipes often call for milk or cream. But this one uses blended potatoes for the creamy texture!
